LIME Course at VGC 2021

The 4th Virtual Geoscience Conference will take place 29 September to 01 October 2021. Postponed from 2020, VGC 2021 will be the first virtual Virtual Geoscience Conference (vVGC)😊. It is organised this time by Sophie Viseur and her colleagues at CEREGE and Aix-Marseilles University and abstract submission is open now. This event is a great opportunity to connect with researchers and practitioners in multiple geoscience disciplines who are united in their common interest to integrate geospatial, computer science, visualisation and similar technology-driven approaches into their applications. The conference follows on from successful events in Kingston (2018), Bergen (2016 – convened by our own team) and Lausanne (2014).

For VGC 2021, the VOG Group will hold a short course on virtual outcrop interpretation using LIME. The course will give an overview of LIME interpretation, co-visualisation of multiple geoscience data types and creation of simple virtual field trips to present project data. Looking forward to this event!

You can find out more on the conference website. Registration will open soon and places are limited, so make sure you sign up to the conference to benefit from this unique forum.
