V3Geo has been picked up by many users and organisations in the month since it was first released. Particularly in the current COVID-19 situation, it is finding uses supporting teaching courses that normally would be run in the field, but have had to be run virtually. One example is a virtual field course run by Imperial Colleage, where V3Geo forms the virtual outcrop component:
