vVMSG workshop recordings released

In January, Jess Pugsley and John Howell (University of Aberdeen) ran a two-day workshop at the (virtual) Volcanic and Magmatic Studies Group (VMSG) Annual Meeting (6-7 January 2021). The workshop introduced participants to the use of virtual outcrops for remotely exploring localities in Namibia and Scotland, based on V3Geo and LIME. A special session, run by John, gave an overview of how to create the virtual field trips that had been presented - hopefully giving an impression of just how easy this process is becoming using the tools in LIME. Around 100 participants took part - thanks to all those who were present and gave such great feedback, and to Jess and John for running the workshop!

The VFT creation workshop was recorded, and now uploaded as a playlist. It's a great way to get familiar with LIME and the creative possibilities for preparing and presenting a virtual field experience.
