FORCE virtual field trip school (in LIME)

John Howell is running a series of virtual field trips for FORCE this autumn. The first, on fluvial systems, took place this Monday, with around 200 participants in the Zoom event. As travel restrictions and physical distancing limit the possibilities for real fieldwork and excursions, exploring virtual 3D environments is one way we can still get to interact with geology and hear field geoscientists describing the rocks! The virtual field trip was presented in LIME and was based on V3Geo and SAFARI models.

Thanks to John for promoting LIME, and to FORCE for organising the event. The next VFT school takes place on 29th September at 14.00 CET.
