Version 2.2.1 of LIME is now available for download! This version fixes up 20+ bugs from the main 2.2.0 release back in April. In addition, there are a few features and optimisations that improve the software.
The main addition is the possibility to create orientation planes from existing lines. This calculates a best fit plane through all vertices of a line, giving a more rigorous way to extract orientation data than a standard three-point plane.
See it in action here.
Draw your lines – select all and choose Add/Update Plane. You’ll get a batch of planes that can then be visualised according to orientation (we also added a few new colour ramps) and exported.
If you edit the lines, you can update the fitted planes using the same menu option.
