LIME: Visual inspection, integration and analysis
LIME is an easy to use and lightweight 3D viewer for high performance visualisation and interpretation of meshes and photorealistic textured models created using, for example, lidar, photogrammetry, and structured light scanning. The main features relate to interpretation and measurement, novel graphical renderings for high quality presentation, and integrating different 3D model, 2D image and geometric data in unique ways.
The main features include:
- Import of common 3D model formats
Handling of massive textured models through out of core level of detail (LOD) based rendering
Visualisation of terrain and image properties (dip/slope, dip direction/aspect, brightness/contrast etc.) using GPU-based approaches
Interpretation and measurement (lines, planes, panels)
Placement of supplementary objects (e.g. photos, logs, georeferenced image files, interpretation and geophysical data panels, surfaces)
Multi-layer data overlays (geophysics, hyperspectral, annotations, interpretations) and advanced layer blending capabilities
High quality graphical output for presentation (screenshots, video frames, stereo)
